Just wondering what lunging aids everyone suggests and why and if you lunge without an aid how do you believe it helps?

does anyone actually use this rug as their only rug? How well does it work? are there any other rugs you own too and use alongside it? Just trying to workout whether buying one of these would be cheaper than buying every rug separately
