That was interesting about the kittens.
I guess I am just very cycnical when I hear the word syndrome. To me it implies we don't know what is causing it so we will call it syndrome for now (currently suffer from two 'syndromes' myself).

It hasn't happened to me but somebody mentioned it and it just sounded a bit 'made-up' to me. However that probably has more to do with what else they were talking about.

When I looked at the first pictures it didn't look as bad as the fourth. Does that makes sense? In the fourth and fifth picture you really can see what an awful state she is in...

I also change my answer dependent on what other questions people have asked. If they seem like they are overly interested in my dog in particular (with having had dog thefts round our way) I explain we got him...
After the ideas presented a while ago about kongs I have been developing ideas. The favourite one has been some kibble with grated cheese mixed and then melted.
Also chicken wings put in a microwave dish and then covered in water and frozen.

I put normal dried food in them and pack it so tight that the food doesn't come out with any ease whatsoever. However Brego has learnt that if you throw it at the wall food gradually comes out.
Peanut butter round the inside but not a lot so that they have to pin them and lick it to get it...
