He has been broken to ride/drive and does not pace when ridden, according to the owner. Do you think this May mean he will have future lameness problems?
I am really interested in a standardbred horse however apparently the previous owners hot pressed his legs? Can anyone tell me what this means.. Can't find anything about it on the internet

This may sound extremely obvious, however have you moved your pelvis left/right and used your seat? Try and sit deep into the saddle when asking for a halt as well as using the reins minimally. If his bum swings around have you tried placing the leg that is on the side that he is swinging out on...
I have not personally, however Lucinda Green is doing XC days at Wellington Riding (which is an outstanding establishment) for any level of rider.

Yes, I am pretty sure that is what it was. Very very good stuff, as he was also becoming violent but I think a small amount of that was just the breed's nature:)
I cant seem to keep my lower leg still when in rising trot. When i'm in sitting trot and canter it stays perfectly still but as soon as I go into rising, my lower legs start moving around. Any help would be greatly appreciated :)
