Thanks woodlander for your advice. I think it is the normal here to have these guys done under 6 months old, so I know the inspector should be used to seeing young foals. Anyone else have any thoughts on him?

I think she is definately happy to be thinner again! Do you guys think his base colour is bay, or a really dark chestnut? I just don't think I have seen many chestnut foals this dark, but he doesn't have a dark mane which is a little confusing!

Yeap it was! We had a foal just one and a half hours ago! :D Not all went to plan, we had a elbow flexed so I had to pull it, but all seems well at the moment. Touch and go there for a moment, but we now have a healthy colt! Placenta is passed and looks fine, and he has been drinking well...
