hi all, thanks for your help, but we had to have the filly put to sleep early this morning, we had 8 people trying to get her up hoisting her up as best we could but she wouldnt get her legs out. she had spent bout 14hrs laying down and lungs were getting flooded she was just giving up. Thanks...

vet thinks she laid down got cold, numb legs from laying on them ?????????????????? i dont know bless her, its cold cold shes in warm stable rugged up and stuffed with straw, just hope she fights to get up soon, thanks

she is 11h, havent done bloods as it is too late tonight to get them tested so we will do this tomorrow!!! she was trying with front but looked like 'dead legs' in hind, vet says if she has laid so long she will have pins and needles type feeling, we hoisted her up best we could but she didnt...

to try and keep her warm, move her every 2hrs. there is not alot else we can do

18m filly has gone been down for 6hrs, we have had vet out she gave painkiller - no change. She is not cast, not colic. wormed to date. We have tried everything to get her up, hoists, bales, shouting etc etc etc. We are turning her every 2hrs. Temp is fine she is eating bedding and hay, stools...

hi. We have a wind sucker very very poor dooer. she had a scope last thurs- she had the worse ulsers the vet had seen. she is now on a course of gartogaurd for 6wks. from watching her behavior I think the windsucking helps them relive the pain but in turn the windsucking causes more problems...
