Not a guaranteed approach, but Beau used to be (or pretend to be) absolutely petrified of real ditches (would jump recreated versions in the arena happily) and stop dead about 5 strides out snorting and it would take ages to get closer. It wasn't even a case of once he was done it he was fine it...

I'm based in South Glos and don't have a horse atm, but would love a mounted day out hunting before the end of the season. I can't afford a hireling and cap (about £250 for a half day plus cap) with my local hunts so was wondering if anyone could recommend a hunt with in a 2 - 3 hr drive...

Nice horse, not 100% certain he looks completely sound in the trot video. If close I'd go and have a look, but would want to see him trotted on a hard surface on a circle.

Anything that will improve your core strength, and lower leg strength. Some yoga and pilates is really good (you can get Pilates for riders), or maybe something like Zumba for a bit of all round fitness? Depending in finances and time running for leg strength and then doing sit ups at home are...

I'm looking for a hunt whip (& lash though not essential) if anyone knows of any for sale that won't require me trying to sell my sister into slavery again (waste of time she doesn't fetch enough :p ) Thank you! :)
