As the title, do most people get their new born foals blood tested, to check their well being. Apparently this is a good indicator if they have had the correct colestrum intake etc. Can help reduce things such as joint ill as preventative treatment can be give.

Would anyone be able to suggest the best feed for a foal before and after weaning. it is a warmblood x TB. They have good grazing on water meadows with a hedges for shelter. Did not want to feed a premium priced feed if not necessary !
