Why does the question upset you? They are just asking about something that is of interest to them. I'm afraid I'm one of those who keeps and shows Welshies and I'm always happy to spout off about my ponies bloodlines to those who ask about them. If the subject is of no interest to you then tell...
Best thing for wound healing by far. Open wound should not be left open to the air!- wound beds need to be kept moist to heal properly. Wound gels remove debris from the wound keeping it clean, cushion the nerve endings and so help with pain and keep the newly formed cells moist.
My retired Connie has Top Spec anti-Lam with Unmolassed chaff, linseed & turmeric (The turmeric is a new addition, I'm giving it a try).

You and your pony look happy together, if he's happy with you on board and can do what you ask without problems then...
Yes, you carry on using it for this wound but it won't keep safely for future use.
Some people are advocating using honey bought in supermarkets (food grade) but although honey naturally inhibits bacterial growth unless it's been sterilised specifically for wounds you shouldn't really use...
The OP sates that she is NOT trying to make a profit. She just wants to find a suitable home and not be out of pocket herself. Sounds reasonable enough to me.
The honey needs to be sterile to use safely on wounds.....You can get Penicillin by scraping it off mouldy bread but I wouldn't slap that on an open wound!
