I'm struggling to keep shoes on my horses front feet after he ripped his heart bars off about 6 weeks ago, along with a lot of hoof at the back of both feet.
I'm considering either hoof boots - though getting the sizing right is proving a nightmare with collapsed heels and half the hoof missing; or I've been advised to try glue on shoes. But how well do glue on shoes stay on? I have quite a boisterous horse who keeps running around and pulling his shoes off (despite overreach boots etc)- will he just do the same with glue on ones?
Has anybody got any ideas or experiances they can share?
Cheers
