He was a really good boy, just a little tense which was understandable considering he's not been anywhere since October. We can start getting out and about soon more regularly and he will be back in the swing of it soon enough.
Koko, I don't post much but have been around horses for about 40 years now. It is obvious that you have done everything correctly. If there was a problem I am sure your vet or instructor (the ones you should be listening too) would have told you.

I back and rode my 3yr old (4 in July) and have turned her away for the winter to mature and fill out a little. I will bring her into work again in march sort of time. She is 16.3hh now and we felt she needed a little more time to work out her legs etc lol.
Never accosted but yes I think we may have spoken to a judge after a competition. Most of them are really nice if you are genuinly asking a proper question and not just trying to 'slag' them off as such. Sometimes it can be helpful to have an interpretation of a comment.
Have you tried Tiger Oats? They are specifically grown for horses and are different to normal oats. I use them for Gen, it gives him more energy but none of the stupidity.
