My horse gets very excited going into canter and bucks. Back, teeth and saddle checked and all ok. What bit should I use that would help to keep his head up please?
Thank you
Thank you for your helpful reply. I will certainly cut out the supplement and will try oats. Thought I wouldn't be able to use oaks due to his weight but might try adding them!
My pony is on restricted grazing even though thankfully he's never had laminitis. I feed him Happy Hoof and Lite Balancer, and a multi vitamin supplement, but he doesn't have much energy. Any advice please on what I can feed him to add a bit of sparkle but not weight?
My 19 year old cob lives out in the summer but comes in for a few hours during the day. Although he has never had laminitis I have to watch his weight. Currently I am feeding him on Happy Hoof so that i can give him his Linseed supplement, but was wondering what feed I could add to fizz him up...
Has anyone got any idea why the vet has told me to waste one puff every time I use the inhaler? I can ask the vet next time I speak to her, but just wondered if anyone else knows.
My horse has only today been put on an inhaler due to unknown allergy. Vet originally thought it was due to summer pasture, so I am surprised its still going on in October. Does your horse still show signs in autumn?
