Hi, you should come and have a look at Rollestone. I livery there and it is very convenient for Exeter University, particularly Streatham Campus (two minute drive). Great hacking, very friendly and a decent school.
Hi Merrylegs, I really feel for you as when I moved to Devon earlier in the summer, I found it really difficult working out where to livery Fred. It seems that the majority of yards with a descent online presence (which is essential for us outsiders) are a good twenty minute drive from Exeter...
Hi there,
This forum is always very helpful for non-horsey related issues too so I thought I would ask if anyone knows of any short term, dog friendly accommodation in Devon from August 11th? I know it is a stretch with dogs in August in Devon but I thought I would give this a go. Our house...
Oh thank you : ) I'll maybe give her a PM this afternoon. I am on Facebook so I will join the group right this second. Hopefully that will have some answers. I'll also check out the two yards you have posted now. Thank you!
Hi there,
I'm moving down at the beginning of August and need to find a nice yard for Fredstar. We don't require much really, just a friendly, informal yard with access to good hacking on the Dartmoor side of Exeter (no further than 10 miles from Exeter). I am coming down on the 8th July to...
Unfortunately I don't think it is possible to have it all, unless you want to be warn out and run down. I'm 31 and just don't think it is possible to have children with all the other stuff as well. I'd rather the other stuff though.
Ooooo get one! I have always had greyhounds and have recently acquired a lurcher too! They are amazing pets. Here's a link to one that I think is particularly special and he needs a new home : )

No new advice really, I just wanted to wish you good luck. I can't begin to understand how angry/frustrated/sad you must be. I think there will be a positive outcome. I like your determination! x
Thank you everyone. She is fine, if a little sore and dazed but slowly returning to normal. It's so emotional having dogs sometimes. She still has a few teeth remaining so hopefully she'll still be able to enjoy the odd pigs ear!
and it's a horrid wait. Millie is a twelve year old greyhound with horrific teeth, so they are coming out as even with brushing and mouth washing, they are still stinky and we think it's causing recurrent problems with other infections.
Anyway, do you think she'll be okay under anaesthetic...
