Interesting feedback. All I can say is I found some spectators so judgemental of other spectators. So I guess this comment fits what I thought.

Hi Dave, this was exactly what i thought. I have been learning this. Thats why i feel its either rug with layers to make an impact rather than a thin rug which may stop it.

Thank you, my other mare underwent KS surgery so we’ve done all of them. We are trying but she struggles with touch. Will keep going with it and try do some belly lifts. She won’t be ridden until she’s at least 4/5 so won’t look at saddles just yet.
