Farrier came out this morning. He said the same thing. Nothing to worry about, extra piece of the frog that has come away due to the amount of rain and moisture in the field at the moment. He trimmed it back and I’ll get my usual barefoot trimmer back next week for her regular trim...
Hi there, so a friends farrier was at the yard today and took a look and said it was nothing to worry about and the loose bit needs trimming back.

My horse lives out 24/7 and LOVES it. She lives in a herd with 7 others and was introduced there when I bought her two months ago. At first it was heartbreaking to watch her trying to settle in and two of the bullies were pretty mean to her, but after a couple of weeks this calmed down...
