This... I got an unhandled 2 year old last year, started him on Pro Hoof straight away... mud fever disappeared on it's own.... He was on a large lava paddock though... Not sure if he had been standing in mud it would have been enough (?)

Good luck / fun everybody ! I can finally join in again. We have our first dressage comp of the year on Saturday , a novice and a young dressage horse class .. normally would not bother with the young dressage horse classes here with my slightly round Connie X .. against the flashy German...

Those metal saucepan cleaners/scouring things are great...also for the face, mud comes off really easily

Was thinking of hiring one or asking for a test drive if I bought from a dealer to check out if he was OK with backwards....He is 5 but an angel to handle so I would not expect loading issues, but would make sense to check out if he likes the backwards travel

Definately good advice, think it may be sensible to look at properties, sort that out and see if the shiny little run about is do able after the sensible bit is secured.
