sorry didnt read all of your post (its been a long day)! I was thinking of using the mollichaf calmer, you find it ok? I only feed a handfull of chaff and handfull of mix to keep him happy as all the other horses are fed the same time too, and it keeps me at ease too while the fields are still...

he is on hay at the minute but will be moving to a new yard soon where haylage is supplied, but there is not much grass there so until it comes through in the next few weeks i've wanted to give him that extra hard feed you know?
