I was hoping that the SJ would be on by now! Wish they'd put it on red button or something. They show football every single night of the week when something like the World Cup is on but when the equivalent for eventing is on we cant even have more than 2 hours on bbc2!

I'd say go for the Degree just because the way you've described it sounds like you are very excited at the prospect! Also having a degree will help you if you ever decide that you want to move onto another career path, as you could use it to show that you're 'academic' even if its not relevant...

Our freelander was absolutely crap at towing. It felt as if it was going to die anytime except for when it went downhill.

You're not the only one! About 3 times this week I've arrived at the yard to find my horse soaking in sweat even though she has more than enough shade and can even walk in and out of her stable when she wants. I'm sunburnt and only get a few hours sleep a night due to the heat, and its too hot...
