Had to take fly rugs off mine this am. Piebald was very sweaty so she and the dun have had a cold hose down and kept in (old stone walled stables) the Appy and the tb x seem comfortable. Rather a few flybites and a scorched coat than overheating. I hate hot weather!!!

Sorry to disagree. You do need qualification s(4 years apprenticeship) to be a farrier please look up Worshipful Company of Farriers!. It is illegal for any one not qualified to shoe a horse etc etc etc.
