Thanks for the replies. Not stressed when competing or PC rallies, good as gold. He travels with the partition in place, so will try without. New trailer, so tip top condition. He happily travels, doesn't sweat up or attempt to barge off ( did so in Equitrek)

When we first had our pony about 2 years ago, he always had to stand at the bottom of the ramp for a couple of minutes before condescending to go in. No problem travelling or standing in trailer - Ifor Williams 510. However we upgraded to an Equitrek and he began to not want to load at all after...
We had a mare who did this and it turned out to be a back proble which when treated, head shaking stopped, The back man couldn't understand how she had tolerated anyone on her back!
Thanks for the reply - pony travelled ok apart from sweating a little but seemed tense, snatching at hay and wanted to get out ASAP! We have a camera and he appeared ok.

Good luck, hope the cause is found and treatable

Reasons for used are that we believe good quality lasts...
Please could someone advise me as to why there is apparently, no market for second hand saddles. In the past, it used to be possible to trade in when changing saddles. We have a new pony and do not want particularly to buy a new saddle. We have three from past equines, needless to say, none...
Does any one know of a person who would sell a pony on our behalf. We find it very difficult and would prefer a third party to act on our behalf with commission.
