Hi, wondering if anyone has any experience of straw pellets? I've been using wood pellets for a couple of years now but wonder if there are advantages in using straw pellets? I've heard that straw is more absorbent and that it breaks down quicker but I'm concerned that they may be even more...
Yes I've used them when the battery ran out on my Moser Avalons. Very capable of a bib depending on what blade you are using - I was using a wide #10. But have also used the smaller # 7 and #8. They take a bit longer but good finish and very quiet for nervous horses. Good luck
Hi,
Just wondering if anyone has one of these saddles and or experienced one? Got a short and fairly flat backed but broad across the wither horse who is going very well in a borrowed Solutions Smart GP but I'm wondering whether the Native version would be even better for her. She's likely to...
Hi, just about to invest in some new jump stands and pondering whether to go for the multipurpose safety cups rather than standard plastic cups which are made for the Jump 4 Joy stands. Looking to buy quite a few plus some flat ones so interested in reviews. Anyone using them at the moment...
Thanks for the info Ariellall. My gut instinct was to dress it dry today but didn't get that much out so left it uncovered tonight. She's in a big stable with wood pellet bedding so hoping it will harden off quickly and not re-infect. Heard on grapevine that lots of horses suffering with...

Thanks folks. I've got a couple of the old Fals and they are great - just the wrong size. He needs 7' and I've got 6'6. Typical! What about the Amigo's? Anyone got the larger sizes in those?
Hi all,
Just wonder what recommendations you have for deep rugs - got a 17.2hh who is very deep through chest and most rugs look like mini skirts. Thanks in advance. :)
I've got a Bates Wintec Wide for my difficult to fit native X. She was a nightmare to fit and as she's still growing and she is very, very wide through the shoulder. I couldn't afford to invest in a very expensive saddle at the still growing stage so opted for the cair version of this synthetic...
Hi, just thinking about replacing my very old and much loved Fal Bulldog rug which, although still being used as stable rug, is getting a bit past it (had it for 7 yrs). Have read a few reports that the Fal's aren't the same as in the past - are they still as generous and quality as good...
