    he did test me a little, but it was stopping and rooting himself to the spot (which most people can deal with, he moved eventually) not bolting and bucking. he has never done this, i just dont understand it, all i want is to find him a nice home, its like he doesnt want to go.

    I would say that it depends on your horse, you and the fields you intend to turn out into. If your horse is happier in, or the field is still wet and there is not a lot of grass, then i would leave him a few more weeks.     As someone who has spent 2 years getting a horse right after a leg operation, I would walk away if I were you! As others have said, there are lots of ponies out there who want good homes and will pass vets.

    hi all, I have registered for this forum as a last resort, i just cant explain my horses behaviour. I have a 12 year old ISH gelding who i have owned for the last 4 years, i bought him a showjumping horse, but 2 years ago he had to have an operation on his stifle which ended his jumping days...
