Can you not focus on training the commands first and leave the poo picking until she is better trained? You could have her on the yard on a lead while you do "easy" jobs and walk her in the field so she gets used to the location.
Thank you xxx
It was hard because she was still very much her feisty self, but it's a decision that sort of makes itself because you can't risk them not being able to get up at all, or hurting themselves trying.
Hello folks, I'm afraid she was put to sleep yesterday afternoon. What I didn't post in my OP, because it was too painful, was that she had also started to find it hard to get up after rolling. I hoped and hoped it was just because the mud rash was so painful, but yesterday it was clear that she...
Look, you are trying to argue me down a path I have no interest in. I was specifically referring to cases where a dog has attacked someone and that attack has been the cause of that person's death. I thought this was obvious, but clearly not. I am not referring to, nor am I interested in...
I think it's (a lot) more complicated than that. Wouldn't a dog that has caused someone's death be automatically destroyed? This case is difficult because there were so many dogs on the scene/ involved, so I assume they don't know which ones were involved in the attack and/ or which ones caused...
I'm at that stage of being torn between trying everything feed related, and wondering whether to wait a little bit and see if the Nano-E and/ or hay change make a difference.
My Silver Whinnys have just arrived so I'm going to start by trying them on her fronts. Wish us luck!
This sounds very similar to what I'm dealing with! Can I ask what silver spray you are using? We're also on two danilon a day and I'm syringing it in to make sure she gets it. My sox should be coming today, at the moment they are scheduled for delivery between 12 and 2pm so fingers crossed. Mine...
I don't think it was me you replied to, unless it was on my initial thread about cellulitis (a week or two back).
So the LV question is one I keep coming back to. I think my vet did mention it last week but we're due to speak tomorrow and I will ask her more about it. I will try covering her...
I think it is eggy bread (i.e. fried in whisked egg), but they serve it sweet with cinnamon, icing sugar and maple syrup. I've never been to the States but I went to a few American owned cafes in Costa Rica and that's what they were serving. I have a very sweet tooth though, so perfect for me!
Any experiences/ suggestions/ advice most welcome as we are quite desperate now.
She is stabled overnight and out on a dry, non muddy field during the day. She has had three courses of antibiotics, IV and oral steroids and a full blood panel to check if there was anything else going on...
