My vet treats lots of horses, not sure how experienced he is in repro. He said the longer the foal is in the mare, the better the chance of survival, thing is although we'd be upset losing the foal if it comes to that- we'd be far worse if we lost the mare. Thanks for responding.

I have a little Cob mare who was scanned 45 Days Pregnant on July 11th 2010, I believe that would make her expected delivery Date around the 8th May 2011. She had a bad scare about 3 weeks ago, which resulted in her tearing around the field and getting herself in a real state, sweating badly...
