    protein isn't an energy source, they use it to build muscles and stuff so it won't be that. Could still be the feed tho - like Katie_and_Toto said comp mixes are usually quick release energy.     Bates Caprilli Dressage Saddles.... Whats your thoughts on them??

    I've got the caprilli dressage - it rubs a bit under the stirrup leathers but other than that it's been fine.

    cheap dressage saddle

    I'm selling my Wintec Dressage Saddle on Ebay at the mo if you're interested (plug plug...) I've just shelled out for a new Bates (ouch!) Would recommend Wintec's for a cheap saddle. They're not hugely comfortable but I stick a sheepskin seatsaver on mine and that solves that problem
