Rehabbing neck arthritis- encouraging horse to take contact??

Thank you for your thoughts- I got someone to video us the other day so I can self critiqued what I'm doing etc- and he does work into the contact nicely for some steps then ducks away at others- mainly when I half halt to steady the front end and rebalance- I've booked to take him for a lesson...

Rehabbing neck arthritis- encouraging horse to take contact??

Hi my horse always struggled at taking the contact down and forward- he's since been diagnosed with mild bone changes in his C6/C7 vertabrae. We are now rehabbing under saddle- he's no longer showing signs of pain and on pain relief to get him going but obviously still ducks behind the contact...

    Sue Carson saddles

When measuring the seat size where do you measure from? I'm looking for a second hand one and some people measure from the front of the Sue Carson badge and others from the front/back of it- so the same saddle could be a 17 or an 18! Any ideas?

Kent and master saddles dressage and gp

Hi I currently have a k&m gp anatomic saddle that I had fitted by a local fitter- I'm really happy with it and want a dressage saddle also now. Does anyone know if the dressage saddle fits the same as their gp ones? My fitter only fits new ones but found one second hand so wondering if I put...

    Livery yard owners- tax returns

Some great advice thank you so much :) as we lease the yard and property will we only be able to offset the yard side of it or would the house be part of that- could it be that given the nature of the business we need to live on site?
