Kent and master saddles dressage and gp

Hi

I currently have a k&m gp anatomic saddle that I had fitted by a local fitter- I'm really happy with it and want a dressage saddle also now. Does anyone know if the dressage saddle fits the same as their gp ones? My fitter only fits new ones but found one second hand so wondering if I put the same fit bar in whether it will fit the same? If need be I will have one new fitted but the second hand ones hardly been used and £400 cheaper

To add they are both the standard version (not cob or high wither)

I think the Kent and Masters saddle all share the same bars, I believe (but may be wrong) it depends on the cantle square cantle is R type of bar and round cantle the S bar. So in theory if they are both round cantles they should be able to use the same bar. Hope that helps

I can only speak for the 'cob' saddles which fit the same in dressage and gp.

I think that's right. But my cob treed saddle takes an 'S' bar and has a square cantle.

Theoretically op you should be able to fit the same width in bug might be worth getting flocking checked.

We recently tried the K&M dressage (& others) on our mare who already has the GP K&M. I'm pretty sure she put the same one in, however we preferred the Albion saddle to the K&M....not bought one yet though.

Thorowgood are really helpful and will confirm if the saddles are on the same tree
