hi my 21yr old Tb has had 75% of his sole removed due to a massive abcess. the vet has reccomended Newmarket hoof disenfectant to help harden the new sole. anyone have experience with this product?
thanks for all the advice guys, had the vet out, the old boy passed a full MOT, all bloods back perfect. he has some slight arthritis in his back legs so iv put him on apple cider vinegar.......totally diffrent horse!

for a couple day's my 21yr old tb seems lethargic in the field. this morning I had to drag him up the track and when he was in the field he stood at the gate shouting. his field companions were all out in tje field at this point. he is just standing with his head low while the others are off...
does anyone know of anyone or any companies that do horse sitting in the exmouth area of devon? im going on holiday in november and might have a few days i cant cover with friends and family to look after my 21yr old tb.

my 21yr old tb gelding was starting to look olkd and stiff. i have him on (supplement wise) micronised linseed and turmeric. i love the linseed! and the turmeric is brilliant for joint mobility etc and i ordered it off ebay from a herbs and spices company for really cheap!
yeah i thought the same, when i saw the VAT price i though that meant it was going to be added on extra but it wasnt. so all good. rugs arrived today!! so nearly all set for winter!
fibre beet is brilliant. i use it on my 21yr old tb gelding and would never take him off it. high fibre diet keeps the gut/ digestive system functioning properly and there fore allows absorbsion of fats, vits and minerals. by boy windsucked until i totally changed his diet to high fibre feeds...
I have a 21yr old TB gelding and use HI-FI seniour, calm and condition (1 bag lasts 2 months), pony nuts and Fibre beet. Fibre beet (again 1 bag lasts 2 months) is the best thing iv ever purchased for my old man.
