    Non "brand" rugs ??

I recently bought a 100g Swish rug to tide us over through the winter/spring transition. Impressed with it so far, fits the old girl pretty well, seems pretty good quality and SO much lighter than PE at double the price!!

Please help - would you buy this?

Sounds good in theory. Would be useful I think for riding out alone and children/ teenagers. It would have to be very user friendly for me to use it, and I think it would have to be a habit to get in to. Would pay for it tho if it was worth it. As others have echoed how easy would it be...

Fly Rug with Neck that doesn't Slip Recommendation

I have PE stay dry (with the waterproof topline), doesn't slip and is a good fit however mare did sweat in it so I wouldn't recommend the stay dry types. I have a PE Bug Buster as well, again is a good fit but I didn't get to try it out last year so can't comment on its performance.

Glucosamine & GLM - is there a gd supps comparison chart?

Cor Synequin is expensive! I have in the past used Riaflex, just had a look on the website and there is a comparison chart to other joint supplements. I may try it again when I run out of turmeric...

Hi wedgenib, I have a mare with ringbone and arthritis in her hocks, she is happy and sound at the moment and I hope will continue to be for many years to come. I don't jump her, don't trot on roads and don't do any strenuous schooling (tight circles etc) I don't have her on bute but do feed...

Horse transport for 200 mile trip to Newcastle

Hi, I'm moving to Newcastle area soon so am looking for horse transport options! Can anyone recommend transport for 1 mare, preferably in a box rather than trailer? I'm in Worcs area. Thank you!

Anyone tried The Rake - opinions please?

Is it for poo picking? I can see pro's and con's. Might be better in long grass but I think would be difficult once the poo has been broken up by birds. Agree with milliepops, I use a cheapo garden hand rake.

Which brands sell reflective turnout rugs?

PE have reflective strips, at the front and on the tail flap. V useful but you have to be careful with washing, as they lose the reflective quality.

I want a no-fill turnout rug - which is light when dry and wet!

Maybe I should try a rhino next then... starting to think I do a lot of rug hauling, and horse does a lot of rug carrying, for no reason if I can get lighter ones!! I'll miss my muscly shoulders tho... :D

    Chapped lips

Try this - https://www.cultbeauty.co.uk/mv-organic-skincare-pure-jojoba.html, I swear by the stuff. I have so many creams made specially for eczema and none of them clear it up like this oil does.

I want a no-fill turnout rug - which is light when dry and wet!

I have 2 Premier Equine no fill, I haven't found anything else that will fit her! The water beads on both of them and neither have any issues with leaking. However, they are not all that light (mind you the rugs are 7'3 so I'm not sure how light I can get it with all that material!). Edited to...

    Chapped lips

Is there a particular ingredient you are allergic to southerncomfort? I get eczema on my face which can be hellish at this time of year so I feel your pain! For lips I steer well clear of Vaseline, it will not help! If really bad I often use sudocrem at night and l'occitane or Liz Earle...
