I used to use Ecobed but found it hard to sweep and very expensive.
Ive now settled on shredded rape straw bedding. Pear Tree Farm at Hartest (Suffolk) supplied it in plastic bales at £4.75 inc delivery (as many or as few as you like).
I keep a full bed on rubber mats and use a bale per week...
Ive done some research into this today for myself - and it seems that for Ex Racers Club classes (a list of which are on www.exracersclub.com ) there are no set rules...only smart turnout for horse and rider..... the emphasis being on the horses manners and ability in its chosen career.

Think they pretty much cater for their members so why not join up and ask for classes in your area ? Its free to join the forum ... not sure which side of London you are but there are loads of reps so no doubt they can sort you out.
Its not just showing either - thee are clinics, parades...
