Hi my horse keeps getting lumps after a schooling session. He is clipped and does sweat a bit the lumps appear in the girth area and saddle area. They are very itchy and after a while they join up together and become one big swelling. We wash him down after and he has a padded numnah (sheepskin)...

i have a duo as well and have problems with velcro i am also thinking of selling it and bying a fal my duo also blows up and makes our horse cold as it's windy where we are. although it does keep him dry

Hi does any one know if its legal for Horse boxes to have a taco when travelling long distances? If so what happens if you are stopped with out one?

I remember when an hours lesson cost 75p a set of shoes was £4 I also use to ride bare back for miles and did'nt think anything of hacking 8miles to my house and 8 miles back again some time i'd leave horse in garden for night and hack home next day. And I also remember the string girths...

Yes same here but some one told me if you are travelling a long distance you have to use it. I just thought I'd post on here and see if it's advisable. I will ask at the local depot though to be sure

cheers Joss, We are traveling to Wales David Broom Equestrian at end of Month and am looking at map and see Blackdyke is quite a bit off the M6 and wondered if there was any yards closer to the M6 otherwise I will give them a call

Sorry dont agree with your post at all mine cribs and has a healthy coat and in my opinion cribbing does them no harm
