Yeah he seems really fine in himself, could be from a sheep actually. That's a good call. I really don't use this very much, what is photo bucket??????
When I was poo picking the other day, I came across this item in my field that looks like part of an intestine. It was a foot long so quite a large animal and I'm worrying that it came from my horse. It wasn't amongst other poo but when I opened it up there was poo inside that looked a similar...
My 4 year old constantly chomps on his bit. He didn't do his when he was first broken but it is now a constant habit. Have ridden previously in a loose ring snaffle and now have him in a French link. It's not stress related, and tends to do it more when he is stood still. Just wanted people's...
I desperately need to insure my 4 year old and I'm just wondering which companies people would suggest? He's not freeze marked and I'm a little unsure of the sun to insure as I bought him as an unbroken project last summer so this value would be very different now. He's not had and previous...
My horse has just had an infection which made him quite poorly, as a result of the illness and lack of work his topline has become very bad. He has lost all the muscle and fat, and I was just wondering if anybody has any miracle excercises to improve this as I was hoping to show him in about 5...
He is half TB half cob. Didn't mention breed because I am just looking for ideas of makes and models, wasn't necessarily looking into so much detail about fitting yet. However what are your thoughts on treeless saddles?
Yes that's why I want one that can adapt slightly with him as he grows, maybe with a changeable gullet. Obviously I know he is going to change shape, but because he is young I want him to have a nice saddle on his back that won't be restricting his growth or causing him pain
Just looking for some advice on saddles. Just broken my four year old in a few weeks ago, and just wonder what saddles people would recommend. Quite like the Albion K2 GP but wanting to do some more research. Would like something that is good for all round use, jumping and flatwork, or maybe...
Hi, my horse has a cough and has yellow snot coming from both nostrils. He has had this over a week now as I was hoping it would improve but it hasn't. I am almost certain that it is a bacterial infection because to other horses at the same yard had similar symptoms. They have been given a...
My horse was wormed with equitape in mid April. Wanting advice on when to worm him again and what to use as I haven't wormed him yet myself because I bought him a few weeks ago. He is 14.3" for year old gelding. Thanks
How would you suggest that I gain this trust? I have my on ideas, but am open to the opinion of others. He is being stubborn, but yes it's because he feels that I am not his leader. I have tried some of the natural horsemanship sort of stuff to gain his trust when lunging etc, and this seems to...
