Hi All I am trying to contact the user of this forum with name Harveysmum. I am guessing that her real name is Emma and I believe she is from Oxfordshire. I now own Harvey and would love to get in touch with her. I have PM'd her but not sure that she uses the site much anymore. Any help...

    Archie's lame again, update

Guess who Ca?? Sorry about Archie.....could it be a Suspensory problem, his lameness sounds very similar to Tiggers (been following your threads). Tig had to go in for xrays and nerve blocks to get this diagnosis. Hopefully whatever it is he will come good sooner rather than later. Will keep...

    AMIGO rugs - any good?

Yes....but.....the coloured and cheaper ones tend to only have 600d outer which makes them less waterproof, Ok in a light shower but not in persistant rain, if you go for the navy version they have 1200d outer and are much better but a bit more money...still good value though I think.

    Shavings

Apparentely Rape Straw is very good for managing a bed as you want to. It doesn't move very much so the wet stays in place. It is not like straw as we no it - finely chopped, it's dust free etc. Might be worth investigating. I haven;t used it personally but a few people on my yard are trying it.

    New Horse

He's 11. Low mileage though. Know's his job but his previous owner was a bit scared of him so has been allowed to get away with a few naughty things - spooking being one of them. Am hoping that as we become a team and he learns to trust me it will fade away... will see if I can post a...

    New Horse

I got one two weeks ago this Saturday. 16.1 bay sports horse, not done much for a while but has potential. Have done a reasonable amount so far but feeling a bit wobbly after a couple of silly silly falls (normally stick like glue!). I am sure it is just teething problems, him testing me...
