I am looking for some recommendations with regards to a riding centre.
I recently sold my horse due to a change in job which meant less time for him.
I am hoping to spend more time actually riding and learning via a centre rather than on a yard with a coffee while watching him play in a...
As previously said, there are some excellent points being made.
Prior to owning a horse, I felt that it was always seen as a very 'elite' club. I was naive going into horse ownership and although I 99.9% bought him to enjoy horse ownership and let me get new experiences with horse riding...

Hi,
I have been horseless for about a year, after workibg with my own for teo My current horse has been on loan since May roughly due to the fact that I am only really interested in schooling/hacking and he had the potential for reasonable dressage.
I am looking for a novice horse in the...
After my experience I would say no to Parelli, however, I am interested to an extent in Natural Horsemanship.

I do think though that people have to try these things themselves.
Prefer smaller yards. I feel that if there are any problems, I know people a bit better on smaller yards so they are more likely to notice something and let me know.
Less trouble on smaller yards (although I am sure I can be proved wrong there lol)
I am most definately a happy hacker.
I bought my horse for relaxation and enjoyment. Competitions would stress me out too much.
I love going to the yard, and even if we dont actually do anything, just grooming him helps.
