My saddle fitter has recommended using either a Lambskin or Merino Wool Saddle Pad. Without going into the details about why this has been recommended I m trying to find out the differences between the two fabrics. Can anyone explain please.
I had a lovely horse PTS this time last year following a fracture of his long pastern. The vet had recommended sending him to an orthopaedic vets for surgery but with no guarantees; he also was not sure if there was more than one fracture from the x-rays. We opted not to do this as he had a...
We have a Rhinegold Anatomical Bridle with a flash noseband. Unfortunately the flash was broken recently and I can't find a replacement one anywhere. It is a noseband with a buckle on both sides of the head as the top part of the strap is integral with the head piece - if that makes sense to...
Any ideas would be welcomed. We have had our horse since December. Since then he has been in a 10 acre field with 3 others, out during the day initially and for the past month out at night.
In the past 10 days he has broken out of different parts of the field three times. Nothing has...
As title. Please could someone explain if there is any difference between a NS Universal and Dutch Gag other than the fact that a Dutch Gag has an extra ring. TIA
Agrobs do a chaff which does not have alfafa in it. I used that and their other feeds on a previous horse with ulcers who was not allowed Alfa. It can be difficult to get hold of but I found it well worth the effort
We have a new horse and are thinking of treating him to a new bridle, rather than use the old tatty one!
Does anyone know where I can find a size guide for Rhinegold bridles as I can't decide between cob and full. TIA
We have a horse on trial with a jumping saddle stamped "Star Saddles Ltd". I can't find out anything about these saddles on the internet. Has anyone else come across them please?

Hi. No doubt this thread has been done before but I am looking for information from fellow readers. My daughter's horse has had problems with his SI, which almost certainly stem back to before we bought him. Following lots of manipulation and rehab he is improving. However I am keen to make sure...
