Our Jack showed similar signs to yours and when we took him to the vet she suggested it could be Pancreatitis. Thankfully he never showed these symptoms again, but I think you are wise taking him to the vet for a check up.
Just to say I took my puppy to be micrchipped last night and used EMLA cream - he didn't even flinch. Brilliant - thank you very much from Wilf the JRT...!!

I too have a Rutland and actually took it to them to get it repaired. They were most helpful when I called for help. You should definitely try again. Also, I think that Countrywide may be able to help if you have one close to you.
Yes, it really brought it home to me the bond people can have with their animals and how this dog loved his owner. I'm not ashamed to admit I cried when I read it.
