Looking for sharer - advert help

As someone who keeps an eye on local sharer ads, it seems a bit contradictory to me, so I'd probably not contact you. "Excellent, but spooky" - that's not excellent? "No financial contribution, but you have to pay for a lesson" - that's a financial commitment (albeit not a contribution, I get...

Royal Canin Satiety Weight Management - food experiences

It is a lot of poo, right?! It is the filler, yes, the vet nurse did say that's normal, but the poor love was on hydrolysed protein for years beforehand and sometimes only did 1 poo a day! He was on that because it helped (we thought he might have allergies and slightly dicky tummy, and tried...

Royal Canin Satiety Weight Management - food experiences

Thanks AMA! I am biased, but he is such a good looking boy and an all-round stunner! 😍 His grey hairs are making him ever so distinguished! He has been on the recommended amounts, yes, under the guidance of the vet nurse who does the weight loss clinics. We decreased a bit because the amount he...

Royal Canin Satiety Weight Management - food experiences

Morning all! Harvey (nearly 11yo chocolate lab) needed to lose a couple of kgs (he was 33kg), mostly for his joints. He wasn't overweight by much, but it was excess, and he was/is slowing down a bit. The vet suggested RC Satiety food and he's been on that for about 6 months now. Last time he...

    Plaque Off alternative?

And to say thanks, here's a picture of HRH, being an office dog earlier 😍😍😍

    Plaque Off alternative?

Hi AAD! Hope you and all your pups are good! Harvey has just finished a tub of Plaque Off (e.g. https://www.petsathome.com/product/plaqueoff-proden-powder-for-cats-and-dogs/21168P?productId=21168&purchaseType=easy-repeat&weight=180g) and I think it does help as the vet always comments on how...

Dressage Day Nations Cup 2024 in Millstreet. Why wasn’t the test stopped ?

I think the commentator is Lizzie Greenwood-Hughes. What a kind horse - very tolerant.

    Cochno livery yard

Sorry - I had an ask around but didn't find anything out - I was thinking of a different yard up that way.

    Cochno livery yard

I have no direct experience, but I may know someone who knows someone there - I can ask of you need me too. There are two groups on Facebook called Livery Yards in Central Scotland and Livery Yard Reviews Scotland, if you haven't already seen them.

Howling in sleep - daft question!

The first time it happened, I thought I was in some kind of weird, misty Hound of the Baskervilles scene! There is also a chance he may not be chasing squirrels and that Clodagh's contribution to this thread is correct 🫣🤭

Howling in sleep - daft question!

Wow! I'm in trouble when I'm older then because I already talk a lot of rubbish in my sleep! 😂 Thanks for sharing!

Howling in sleep - daft question!

He's very quiet when awake - only properly barking (which is v.loud) when a bit frustrated, which is increasing with age, I think. But he has always been quite vocal in his sleep. I wish he could tell me about his dreams!

Howling in sleep - daft question!

Harvey (nearly 10yo lab, been with us for 6 years) used to only howl in his sleep once, twice a year, max. In the last month or so, he has howled in his sleep about 5/6 times, once he did it two nights in a row! Do I worry?!

    Badminton 2024 thread

That would have been quite a thing, but no, I was on the Glasgow flight. I did wonder if you were on the same flight, but then you mentioned the Irish Sea! Would have been more fun to play guess the HHOer during the delay, had we been on the same plane!
