The myler wasn't a similar case for me as I know and have seen horses who go really well in the bits (and some that don't)...
But the Neue Schule, I found friends/family all seemed to have as much bad luck as me with them. Obviously they do work for people but was just a general question.
Very strange! I had no luck with the myler bits on my old horse but I do know people that use the myler comfort and love it, so not quite as similar as my experience with the NS. But it must just be a coincidence :)
I was horrified when I caught my little Welsh B mounting my Welsh D
She has kicked him when he tried to do the full deed, but as she has no shoes I've just kept a close eye. When he is excited now, he jumps on her, but doesn't dare do the deed anymore so I've left them to it.

I've got my new boy and I thought he'd like my old horses Neue Schule Starter bit as he is only young....
Nope!
Did the exact same as previous horse in the bit, held it out to one side and did not stop trying to move it around and remain uneasy in it.
Didn't even ride in it, so put a...
I had an ex racer who had visible ribs and similar condition to your horse. She looked better once the muscle was on, but her ribs stayed visible. The vet also told me to make sure she does not put any more weight on. All I would say is she was slightly more covered than yours.
I am a little...
I don't think bloods are too much on top of a 2 stage vetting. But always found them to be included in a 5 stage.
I would get them done but if I would always go with a 5 stage vetting if it's already backed.
Just watch it though as my recent 5 stage only keeps the bloods for 3 months...
The general attitude towards the horse is so off, I wouldn't touch it even if they magic the passport out of thin air and handed it over in a gold frame. Hope you find a nice horse elsewhere though :)
Same as nearly everyone else, one of my top priorities! My horses now live out all year round with just natural shelter.
The only thing I miss about a stable is tacking up in there, as I hate wrestling with the exercise sheet in the rain and wind :p
Once I know what land I am using, will...
My Welsh D has only just got her summer coat. She's a healthy 2 year old... But after the winter, she had one hefty coat to shift, as she lives out with no rugs.
Hi thanks, my Arab has a native saddle which is great. Just this second, Ive managed to find one that should be a good fit for the new conny, might need some adjustment but very lucky to get hold of a second hand one.
Well that was hopefully easier than expected with the saddle :)
But not so excited about trying to find a saddle to fit!!!
He is a 5yo 14.1 Connemara (Did originally say I would only have a mare, but would appear Ive been converted). He came from 2 girls who back and school horses mainly for showing.
Was lovely to see them all being backed slowly...
