    Not sure where you are but I've used Greg Roberts before to transport my horse to and from the vets and he was very reliable (I'm based near Huddersfield.) If you Google Greg Roberts horse transport it brings up a website with his contact details.

    Thank you for the info I'm changing my farrier to one recommended by the vet who does a lot of their remedial farriery. Insurance wise we're covered up to 5K for vets fees thankfully, they have added up what I've spent so far (the MRI itself was around £1,100 ) and we should come underneath...

    Keratoma / hoof wall removal??

    My horse was diagnosed with a keratoma in her near fore this week following an MRI scan and xrays. She's going in for an operation next Thursday to have an entire section of her hoof wall removed and the keratoma dug out. Then she will need a steel plate putting across her hoof to hold it...
