I have stuck with it and have actually grown to like it :-)
I had no idea he used to be called Archie! I much prefer that to billy... Sadly he has got used to the name billy though so changing it is out of the question :-( Archie is lovely though x
Hello all! Remember me? :-)
Well Billy and I have cracked it! It's taken 7 months but he can now canter both in and enclosed track and in an open grass field!! :-) in addition to this he now has mastered a walk to canter transition!
I took him to a county show in august and showed him inhand...
A few pics for you :-)
not the best pic as hes on uneven ground but this is Billy aka Falconers Marching Lad
sorry for my fat bum! this is just a sweet picture of his face :-)
This is my 6 year daughters Welsh Section A 'Echo' aka Princess Echo Beach
and finally my 4 year old on...
So you may remember me: after acquiring my 4 year old new forest and discovering he wasn't quite so far in his training as I'd previously thought!
Well 3 months on and he is coming along beautifully :-) so much so that I am now contemplating a show name and was hoping you lovely people might be...
I really hope so, he's such a pretty boy and is very brave really: tractors, quads, cattle lorries, plastic bags and tarpaulins: none of it bothers him much more than a tiny jump and a prick of the ears.
I really do have high hopes for him :-)
Exactly what I thought honetpop, for one week I have given him the benefit of the doubt but I think it's clear to see he needs starting from square one.
Wow! That's awesome that I've come across someone not only with NF experience but with NF from the same father! :-) thank you for replying :-) I will definitely be starting from scratch with him
I hope we are lucky to have found each other :-) I think he has potential and is far from a list cause :-) he has a very well known daddy so could go far :-) x
