He was using his water container as his scratch post, that's all. So when i cut it off he had no where to scratch. He's not constantly scratching on that it just means when he's got an itch he can now scratch it

It was so simple I never thought of it! I had cut off his usual water supply to clean it all out and it turns out thats what he qas using to scratch in the field! The day after I'd sorted it all out he came back into the stable and barely scratches at all now. A lot of worry over nothing hehe x

Just wanted to update everyone on what's happened. Turns out it wasn't pinworms after all and he's absolutely fine now :) thanks everyone for your responses xx

Hi all, I have a 16 month cob and I have just started noticing some really thick dandruff on legs. It's mainly down towards his feet but gets thinner the further you go up his legs. And it's only on the back ones? It's really horrible to feel and I could sit picking quite big hard lumps out...
