Hi, Does anyone know of any retirement liveries in Essex? With a barn for the winter? I would only visit about once a month so would look at Kent as well as Essex :) I am currently paying around £400 for livery every month so anything below that would be a plus... Thank you

We were told to make sure they always have hay or grass unless your riding.

My vet said over time it will still damage liver (as the same as bute) but it is less harsh on stomach and liver, thanks for the info I will ask her some more questions :)

Yes of course get a vet!! I am just saying if the vets don't come up with anything? He told us our horse has arthritis in his back leg and we took him to the vet for x rays and he does. Sorry I see noW the original post came out wrong haha!

Danalon (I think that's how you spell it) does the same thing as bute but is much less damaging on the liver, I think it's more expensive though

I didn't pay for the phone reading actually :) obviously that isn't all he told me... And I do notice when she is stressed and in pain I already knew about her saddle and I know she doesn't like being out when it's really raining because she jumps out her field! Other people may not believe in...

Also, when I called him he told me my horses colour, height and that she had 4 white socks, that was from me saying "hello" because my mare was so easy to read !

Thanks alsiola! I didn't have a very long chat with vet about it she just said they get it from mums milk. I just use to think my mare was an itchy mare but the day after my vet did a check on her ovaries I saw one come out! So I think it came down when her arm was up there haha!
