I have an old chest freezer for my my rugs and saddle pads in storage in my tack room. You can pick up broken ones for free on places like Gumtree or Preloved.
The rug that are currently in use daily are hooked up in the 'rug room' aka stable lean-to for ease and those that are used...
Sheep are always met with wild eyes from my youngster. Both of mine are also not keen on the mounting block my OH slaved over making it for me. I haven't told him that they don't like it yet!
I would get the vet out. I know people will role their eyes as it seems to be the current 'in' thing for horses to have when misbehaving but I would also look at the possibility of ulcers.
My youngster was an angel to back and then out of nowhere started broncing when I first got on him. Took...
I have a samshield vented helmet which is very 'cool' to ride in. I can feel the air coming through the vents which means I dont end up with a horrid sweaty head.

I would get the saddle fitter out first. If they can't find anything obviously wrong then I would get a physio/osteo out for the horse. He may have just tweaked something rolling in the field or stable that could be causing him some discomfort.
I budget about £250 all in for both of mine per month. That includes farrier, feed, lessons on 1 of them once a week and insurance for one of them but excludes dentist, other vet visits, competition entries and any equipment purchases. I am very lucky that I get to keep mine for free at my...
I would try and get some summer work on an event yard first before you make any decisions.
Like you, I was determined to make riding my career and ride at 4* level. I loved working on the event yard but it did make me realise just how tough it is to be a rider. I worked for a 4* rider who had...
So after going through my grooming kit last night it has become apparent that it needs updating as I still have my original body brush from when I was 8 (15 years ago!) which in reality is far too small for me to use properly, a few cactus mits, a very worn curry comb, a magic brush and a mane &...
