    completely agree. i think peopel involved with racing have more concern over the amount of money they are worth than the welfare of the horses. i hate watching it in the fear that something will go wrong.

    I find travel boots are quite restictive on the horses leg movements but you can buy leg wraps that are just as easy to put on but are more felxible and will protect your horses legs exactly the same (:

    he acts grumpily if i ask him to move backwards so i can get to his chest/ out the door but hes very good to move over when i touch his belly.     Thanks, it could be the same thing as his stable is near where alot of tractors and lorries go past and he shoots to the back of his stable... at 16.1hh its a lot of horse to deal with when he comes at you with bearing teeth!
