Recommendation on travel boots??

As title really. I have a rising 4 year old connemara, who is beginning to go out in the horsebox more, I have been bandaging him but would like to buy a set of boots for him to travel in. As he is a baby don't want anything really rigid or restrictive but want them protective enough as he is wearing front shoes. Anyone got any suggestions??

I find travel boots are quite restictive on the horses leg movements but you can buy leg wraps that are just as easy to put on but are more felxible and will protect your horses legs exactly the same

I think the Mark Todd boots are great. Really quick and easy to put on and they don't slip even when the horse is kicking the side out of the box.

Premier equine I find good - 3 big velco tabs rather than too many resulting in turning yourself into an octopus to put them on! They are very robust material wise.

I use Amigo boots - they are very simple / quick to put on and off and they're not hugely expensive.

We've got Equilibrium Hardy chaps, they are soft so dont restrict the horse and they dont budge!! Our horse wont travel in normal boots as he finds them too restictive (when he has used them he falls in lorry/trailer) so a friend suggested these and there brilliant, will aslo double up as a turnout boot. We bought ours from a shop on ebay as they were cheaper! Have a look!

With the amount of trips my girl does to and from the vets they've had a LOT of wear and yet still look new

The horseware ones are FAB. I used to use Mark Todd but found them quite bulky and Fatty did that stupid walk in them. Switched to Horseware which are thinner and have a nice fleece lining and she loves them. Used to take literally 10 mins to get the MT ones on as soon as she heard the velcro go she would be box walking, but since the HW ones she stands good as gold and walks like a normal horse. And she never sweats under them. Bit pricy but last ages, mine have been used regularly for two years and still look pretty much like new apart from the odd poo stain! Oh and wash them in my washer at home as well
