hi all,
currently im a working pupil over in ireland on a livery yard/eventing yard, and currently there is a ex-racehorse in who is 7 yrs, 16hh, raced once and was terrible, my boss got him a year ago with the idea to produce him to event and sell on, though my boss never rides anything smaller...
my horses used to come to school with me and when my family went away our cousins or trainers would take them in for a few weeks, also my current horse has relocated in ireland for a few months with me, it was a big move but the more i think about the idea of him not being here makes me wonder...
HATED mine, i had it as a stop gap, it was the jump one and my knees came over the knee roll i was only 5ft7 in a 17"5, it gathered dirt and always looked filthy, really really hard especially for hunting or PC rallies, i never felt secure.
i do believe that wintec/bates dressage saddles are...
i only ever use the dutch gag/3 ring with double reins and only for hunting or xco, i strongly believe that gags can be severe in untrined hands, and i also ride with two sets of reins just so i can try using the 'snaffle' part first and if that fils then i have the 3rd ring, correct me if im...
personally no,
but saying that my special man windsucks and he is a star, i bought him as a 4 yo and i didnt know he windsucked at all, and im glad i didnt because if i had know he had i wouldnt have got him, ive had him for 3 yrs now and so far no problems, though i am speculating that he may...
i had the same thing and i bought the bates, but its fit will depend on if its flocked or if it has the cair system
mine arrived with a wintec and so i bought the bates version and asked the saddle fitter to change it, but she said in a year or two i'll be looking to buy another saddle anyway
just a few weeks ago the lady who rents the yard next to the main yard(where i work) lost a horse because it got the net caught between the shoe and hoof, got cast, then lashed about all night and broke most of the internal paneling of the stable....
the lady has not learnt a thing, she is...
i had a 7 yr old ex-racehorse who i used for eventing and after steroid injections we carried on at 1m, but as i was 12 i started moving up, he is now happly doing lots of dressage and does ODE here and there and he is happy as larry 7 years on and i still go visit him because i owe him so much...
i have the event boots and they are still around after 2 seasons of competing, and they fit my TB very well, which is something i've struggled with a lot
are you looking for boots to wear around the yard and compete in, because they rarely go hand in hand,
i work all day every day and for that i wear Ariat (the ones with the crossing laces on the side) i've had them for a year and they are still water tight, and they allow my leg to relax while...
at the yard where i work all the liveries just have to drop me a text, as they are their horses so YO does believe they should be able to see their own horses when they see fit, the only rule is that they cant use the arena lights at silly hours, as previous liveries did at 4am and woke the...
i had exactly this issue myself, i'm a little taller at 5ft7 but still he was a lot of horse for me, and i had to ride him for his owner and he was strong too.... annything over 17.2hh is a mans horse in my eyes, not because ladies cant ride them just because i think men can get more out of them...
