Google summer sores - I can't see the pic very clearly, but it looks similar to that - the vet suggested we treat with equimax wormer and that cleared them up.

If it is the same as mine, ie caused by the bot and it looks exactly the same it is called a summer sore and it is where the bot lays its eggs. Not pleasant!

I had this last year with one of mine. Advised by vet to treat with equimax, and it cleared up very quickly.
