I bought a secondhand Pariani dressage saddle the other day. I've done as much research as I can but have found very few for resale and so cannot gauge what they go for, or if people are just hanging onto them. The only place that appears to sell them is Arka Equipe, and they sell them new for...
That's really helpful - thank you :) further afield isn't an issue, I'm happy to travel a bit as I'll be competing BE and fully expect that sod's law will ballot me out of all of the nearby competitions ;) so I'll be used to traversing the M4 ahaha!
If you're looking at going down the saddle-fitting route perhaps looking into some loosely-related courses might be an idea? Obvious complementary therapies are quite Marmite but there is a market for them - if you were able to fit people's saddles and do chiro work all in one fell swoop you...
Hi guys, I'm in the final few days of preparing for my big move to Upper Basildon, where I'll be living on a lovely livery yard and commuting to Surrey to work as yard manager for another. By mid-summer I'll have squirrelled away enough to finally replace my wonderful eventer who was euthanased...
Oh and Angeline, I went novice a few years ago with dubious success but have never had the finances to really have a go at it properly - have worked on some incredible yards so most of my experience is 'behind the scenes' - this is the year I finally have the resources and finances to go for it...
Oh fab Angeline, your guy sounds lovely and it sounds like you'll have a great time out eventing :) it really is absolutely the most fun! But I can imagine that commute is a bit of a nightmare. I'll be feeling your pain soon when I'm doing all my schooling at bizarre hours around work!
Haha...

Oh fab! Blandys has 55 acres as well so I'm sure we could hack there - I'll be horse-shopping once I get there but in the meantime I'm sure I can find something to borrow! I'm an eventer as well so this all works wonderfully :) Nope, I'll be managing a fab livery yard in Chobham but the house at...
Afraid I can't help you (yet) but am responding as am just about to move to Upper Basildon myself and will be living on Blandy's Farm :) Perhaps we'll see each other out and about!
