My mare failed the dreaded flexion tests, but the buyers were still keen to have her, so she was retested after they'd had her on trial for a fortnight and she was fine.

I think it's because the whole yard's done at the same time, but surely they could be done after they'd competed?

I always thought you should go easy on your horses for a day after worming, but people on our yard go out competing the day after, what do you all think?

I have got an agreement, but it doesn't say anything about having to do horses at holiday times.As I said, I found out from one of the other liveries. Ym is quite young, and I don't think she communicates very well.

I will do.I like to be open, and I appreciate that running a yard is a lot of work for very little money.As I said, I've only been there a few weeks, and don't want to get a reputation as a trouble maker.

I sound like a right money grabber! I'm not, honestly. I don't expect money off in return for favours, I was trying to say , there seems to be no goodwill factor, and the yards I've been at (no I don't keep changing yards) seem to be just after your money !

I wouldn't have minded if this had been pointed out when I went there, but I was only told about it the week before (by one of the other liveries, I might add) It just seems a bit of a cheek to expect people to pay for something they're not getting.Livery yards seem to be a law unto themselves.

Hello! I'm new here, but have been lurking for ages, so have finally taken the plunge to join. Sorry my first post is a bit of a whinge. My horse is on 5 day livery, and I've no problems with the care etc. However at Christmas, YM said she would not do Christmas day, Boxing day or New years day...
