    Loaning dressage horses?

Vizslak: this is what I am worried about, I have had a lady who tried to tell me about what horses are worth and how talented he was. When it came down to it she couldnt even get the horse to canter!

    Loaning dressage horses?

Unfortunately the sales livery is at the opposite end of the country to me at the moment. He went out on loan to someone I knew who was going to buy him but due to a divorce she had to give him up. My other horse is turned out in the south west and I am living in the city centre so it isnt easy...

    Loaning dressage horses?

Problem is, he isn't looking great at the moment and is so unfit from being at sales livery. He is normally quite a big chap and at the moment he looks like an eventer, but is so unfit from being locked in a stable that it would be hard for people to ride him and realise his potential. I tried...

    Loaning dressage horses?

Hi, do you think there would be any interest in me loaning my dressage horse? He is currently on sales livery (I dont really want to sell him but due to the HUGE vets bill of my other horse I cant keep the two) but after visiting him doesnt seem to be doing any work or being turned out and he...

    Showing people, saddle help required....!!

Thanks very much you've all been really helpful, I was looking at the Ideal Ramsey so think I might have to begin my hunt for a second hand one! I do like the idea of the Josephine too for a deeper seat but I think the Ramsay often comes with removable blocks too which would be useful for his...

    Showing people, saddle help required....!!

Thanks MissSBird, I will have a look at those saddles. I have previously shown him in a brown dressage saddle but I think at the level he will be competing it just wont look right. I'd find it more comfortable tho!

    Showing people, saddle help required....!!

To all you showing people! I have an advanced dressage horse that really should do a bit of showing, he did some when he was younger and qualified for RIHS but was too hot to realistically take at that point. His XW (not great for dressage I know!) and has a very big moving trot. What saddle...
