Hi how did your move go?
We moved up 2 years ago (hubby originally from the area) and I love it...not least because I can look out of my window (albeit in a static until we get the house built!) and can see the horses outside (currently very soggy horses but they're happy enough!) we are...
Tentatively thinking ahead....what would people pay for following?
Accompanied one to one trail riding on lovely off road forest tracks, and beach rides-would be on well schooled horse/pony (?Highland pony perhaps) 2-3 hours long and suit ability of the rider.
I'm trying to gauge...
I swear by camrosa- I had a sec B on loan a few years ago who had 4 whites which arrived with horrendous mud fever...treated as advised with camrosa shampoo and cream and it is marvellous stuff! I have used it on all sorts since (including myself lol!) and it never fails. A little tub goes an...
We moved 400 miles north last September and whilst buying our own land we kept our 2 ponies and 2 horses at a yard advertising livery vacancies. We moved them onto our own land in November.
I have just been told that while our horses and ponies were at the (loosely termed) livery yard a local...
At no point did I ask if the farmer has the right to pts the horses! I said he had threatened to sell them this way (but didn't anyway and don't actually think he would)....incidentally I had a nosey at some websites re equine abandonment - unsure whether failing to resolve the situation...

This is a real life scenario....I am NOT the owner or the land owner!!!
owner (a) has 4 horses and rents grazing from a local farmer (b)...a falls behind with her rent of £25 a week for grazing and water. Eventually runs up a debt of over £1000.
land owner keeps asking for payment but is evaded...
Hi, can anyone recommend suitable stallions in the area please? We have 2 dressage mares who we would like to cover this Spring. One is TBxCleveland Bay (Chestnut so no chestnut stallions!) and the other is Warmblood cross.
We are going to be busy starting our house build so would like them to...
A major update... The long awaited MRI scans have taken place-painful for poor Emma as this consisted of injecting dye into her hip joints under X-ray followed by MRI scans. First one was done last Tuesday, second one today.
The Dr injecting the dye told us the MRI last week (on the worst hip)...
Micramadam- ours was ruby too... True gems in every way. We lost our ruby on Friday 13th and she was 13....I wasn't superstitious until then :/
Those of you who have WPCS journals can read her obituary in the 2008 edition.
I miss her terribly- we have 4 others but like you said they're not...
I got a call in my first week as a carer to say my foal had somehow got through the fence at a week old seperating herself from mum and therefore unable to feed. It was May but raining hard and cold too so I phoned my new employer and explained I would be late and you would not have believed the...
Merry Christmas to all our friends over Rainbow Bridge....may all your stockings be filled with carrots and polos- more importantly we hope you all know how loved and missed you all are xxxxxxxx
